CNC Machined Parts Interest?
Hello,
I've been into R/C Cars for a while now and am looking into possibly investing in a CNC machine to machine custom parts for RC cars/airplanes/boats or anything else that anyone wants. I'd be able to machine Aluminum, carbon fiber and other kinds of composites, plastics, and anything like that. I know that there are a lot of places to buy aluminum parts for just about anything, but I'd offer the ability to machine other custom or hard-to-find parts and would also sell other more popular parts at very reasonable prices (I'm a college student and am just looking for a way to earn some extra spending money). I guess my question is, what kind of interest is there for CNC machined parts (Pretty much any part on a vehicle, and I've also thought about making kits such as carbon fiber/fiberglass chassis kits and other modifications)? The parts made would be high quality (not made with a homemade CNC machine) and could be made out of a wide variety of materials. I would also be able to design custom parts myself.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
-Will

RE: CNC Machined Parts Interest?
I have access to Autocad and Solidworks and would have the capability of machining fairly complex parts. If anyone designs their own parts in CAD I would be able to machine them just as easily.
