Default looking for flying wing design...

Trying to cobble something together using what I have..

I'm going to use home depot 2" thick foam cut with a hot wire....
Cut airfoils on each half then glue together.

Electric power. hitech -55 servos

Still searching for the right plan or I may just wing it....

Popriv,
I got to play around with a few flying wings and the fastest way I can think of is to check the MH airfoils and also the Eppler stuff. It also depends on what kind of wing you're interested in. the MH 60 was a pretty reliable foil and can also be fast.if memory seves me right ,the eppler 186 is good. if built light then you could thermal it. I fleww mostly slope and a few electrics. A while back I put together the Horten IIIb as electric but used the horten foil shown on plans. check out the UIUC site of Dr Selig..tons of foils. do a search on wings as the choices are a plenty...have fun.... guamflyer

HI,

We fly the 40 sized Combat Gremlin with a 48 inch wingspan and a 24" electric version with an electric motor.

Let me know if this interests you.
Thanks,
john
