type of tailwheel
I'm scratch building a low wing taildragger, stick & balsa, weight around 6 1/2 to 7 lbs or 3000 grams. should I simply attach a tailwheel wire to the rudder or give it it's own control linkage and mount?

RE: type of tailwheel
Dan, thanks a lot. That looks simple, strong and easy. I think I'll try it. Maybe a little extra wood on that part of the rudder?

Thank you, once again. It started out with these three views;

In to AutoCAD with the IMAGE command. Enlarged with the SCALE command and plenty of POLYLINE work. Keep up the scratch building. You'll stay in the hobby indefinetly if you do. Dan.

RE: type of tailwheel
Dan this is my first go at scratch. I've studied the very basic design formulae. Know nothing of CAD. I'll start a build log soon.
Thanks, ED
