Default Really Big Hinges?

I'd like to find out about any outsize hinges that are available. I know about the large Robart Hinge-points, but those would be too small for what I need. It would take a ton of them to support really big surfaces. So, who makes true Giant scale hinges?

Default TYVEK Hinges

I just used TYVEK material for my "BIG PINK" hinges.

(Scroll down to see installation application)

The stuff is rip-proof, and very flexible. I made from US Postal Envelopes...but you can get at any home improvement store.

Use a good Poly-u glue.
Works GREAT!!

I'm running over 165 sq inch surfaces with them...

Default Really Big Hinges?

C.B. Associates makes arguably the most robust hinges available.
They use 1/8" brass tubing as the pivot material and they're made in several different configurations that will fit just about any application you could think of.
If I were thinking of 12ft+ wingspan aircraft, they would be my only choice. If one of their hinges won't work for your application, you're pretty much going to have to make your own.
