Bath test 2 with high voltage 3C Lipos exceeds max Amps of motors (22A) by 12 Amps at peak. Hot motors fortunately not burned out. 10 Seconds at that power you will already be where you were heading anyway ESC's held up well a no over temp . Too much I think but tempting to try it on the water

Will do a speed run on the lake weather permitting with 11.1V packsinparallelÜberRPM should be 500 Watts power / Weight = 570Watts/Kg power to weight ratio.
The spray rails are short near the keel so as not to disturb the flow entering the jet units. Looks better than the last lake run rides higher with no sheets of water pealing of the rear section in turns. I suspect this setup is generating more lift, should give more speed. I have found a good way to brace around the hatch opening is to shove a bamboo skewer up acorrugation near the hatch opening.

It makes it very stiff, this method is good to stiffen flat section of the hull near the chines and keel in the aft sections like I have on Yellow Boat.

The hull panels do flex a bit ,howeverthe structure istorsionally stiff, the joins ate where it would fail as thepolypropylene itsinherentlytough. That said it does seem amplystrongasdemonstratedby isPacificOceanperformance.

One thing with hot glue is the excess making a mess not pretty but cheap, strong, fast light and amusing to drive.

SPBD 3 Hour Boat Design

Need to do some thinking about thecatermaransee what power level it will need and how that equates to full scale. Probably going to need large motor(s) large cost. Need another boat for which I have most of the parts in stock.

Corriboard boat $20 and 3 hours stiff watertight hullbottomand sides onepiece, glued with hot glue. Going to fit 2 jets with 300 size heli motors which shovedProject 31"alongwhichweighsover 3 Kgs all in. This weighs 202 grams with out and engineering.
Looselybase on the Almarine Seafire from the early seventies shown below.

Need to clean up the glue after it is fully hardened
Same deadrise as theAlmarine Seafire/Meteor same proportions length to beam

Should go well with 500watts :

2 X Turnigy 2627 Brushless 300-Size Heli Motor 4200kv 39 grams
1 X Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack 185 grams
2 X Jet Units 40 grams
2 XTurnigy AE-30A Brushless ESC 25 grams
Radio gear, servos and camera ect. 100 grams

Should have an all up weight of around 700 grams. lots of grunt will interesting to see how quick it is

3 Hour Boat Pattern

A proper set of plans will be published soon once I have tested the shapes again in card
