Is it still possible to get a copy of Ed Kazmirski's Taurus plans? If so, what plan set/number would a person ask for?

Thanks,

Bob

You would think that an airplane as important as the Taurus would be one that they would keep around... I'd love to get my hands on an original set of plans...

Iron Bottom,
Thanks for letting us know about the sale. I went to the site and found a new plan from Henry Haffke, a 79" Howard Ike.
http://www.airagestore.com/plans/rc-...chevrolet.html
I went looking for that issue of the magazine (March 2013), but it turns out my subscription ended with the February issue.
I wouldn't have even known about that new plan if you hadn't given me a reason to look through the plan listings.
Thanks again,
...Steve

You're welcome, Hawk. They're are a lot of plans out there for models that will never be kitted, as well as plans for kits that will never be manufactured again. I try to buy a few when they go on sale.

I've always liked the lines of the Howard Ike. That will be a rare one at the flying field.

If you want a Taurus plan, you can find it online for free, and get it printed. If you must have an "original (read: old) set, that can be a little more work to find.

Just placed my order for a couple plans. Maybe I can use them as an excuse to get back to building...

It is here from the magazine plan service version, this appears not to have been scanned from the magazine itself.
But also they're not the TF kit plans:

You're welcome, Guys.

I think I saw an older Taurus kit a few years ago. Did these kits have a machined balsa belly pan?

My plans arrived today! They look great, but it will probably be Fall before I manage to start tinkering.
