Nice plane Ray. I coulddn't help but notice that you signed up here in 2010 but never posted anything until yesterday, one post in the Hobby King thread and one that shows a plane powered by an ASP61 2 stroke engine; http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...w_Engine_.html also sold by guess who. So I just have to wonder what prompted you to wait all this time to post anything. This post appears to be an under the radar Hobby King ad but it could be that I'm just sensative to that sort of thing. Anyway, good job on the comanche.

Just for the sake of accuracy, it is Comanche (with one e) and there was never a 140 model, the first Comanche in 1957 was the 180 series (180 HP). Your plane almost looks a bit like a Pilatus Porter with the extended cowel but nice build.

you are correct i guess its also a bit like the Cherokee 140 so which the scheme came from , i had actually forgotten about RCU and i mostly go on RCGROUPS i just happen to notice a post with regards to comments about HK on the RCU forum and yes I am not ashamed to say i like and support HK as it has allowed me to stay in the hobby but i can also be critical of them, I do a lot of scratch building i dont need any more planes as there are 28 in the hanger now LOL so although i have a few ARF i scratch build to keep me occupied in retirement thanks for your nice comments on the build i had to extend the nose to fit the rear carb 4 st in
Ray
