Can anyone help direct me to where I can find a set of plans for this end of WWII bird???

It sort of looks like the Kyosho FV-1000 EP but the wings are different.

Can you handle a DXF file. I believe I have a file for the old Midwest Heinkel 162 designed by Zroli. I do believe the measurements and such are in metric and German. I think I found it on a German website.

Hallo Flyn Hawaiin:
Flying Models (Carlson Publications) has the Zirolli He-162 plans available. This is the same plan that was used for the Midwest Kit. But be advised that the fuselage lenght is not scale (to short). Foam wing cores are still available from Wing Manufacturing (Dynamic Balsa). Flying Models also has the plans for the updated electric He-162 by guess who, Nick Zirolli.
The correct name of the He 162 is not 'Salamander' but 'Spatz' (see NASM for verification and win some bets). "salamander' is the project name for the BMW dual motor (rocket/jet).

just read these posts for plans for heinkel 162 salamander i have a better set of plans than them naf dxf ones mine that i found are much better if you want them just e-mail me i will then e-mail them to you.

The plans i had for the plane i have lossed i have just checked my hard drive and i must have deleted them when i was cleaning my hard drive up of unwanted files i should of checked first before deleting files never mine proberly wouldn't of built it anyway.

Try VTH.de. They have a 4 foot long fuselage plan that seems about the best I have seen around. Cost about 14 euros (see conversions). They send free mags with plans. Quick and efficient. HE 162 known as the Salamander..actually it was called the Sparrow by the Luftwaffe...and a real pig to fly apparently.

People are e-mailing me for these plans which i no longer have any plans for any planes including the one i am being e-mailed for as i got rid of them of my pc as i no longer have any interest in model R/C planes,so can you stop e-mailing me please as i can no longer help with any plans.
