Default changing pdf plans so they can be printed locally.

I am not sure if anyone can help me out but I recently took some pdf plans on a flash drive into be printed and they said they were to large to be printed with any printer that they had , this is the second place I have tried. The plans are needing to be printed in the size 65.74 x 101.06 inches. Is there any way to change the plans so they can be rearranged more length wise and be printed on something more like a 36 inch printer? Any help would be appreciated.

thanks , james

If you have a copy of Adobe Acrobat software, you should be able to modify the drawings to print on two sheets of 36 X 101.6 paper. Problem is, the software is a little pricey. Maybe someone here can help you.
