RE: kadet senior plans
I looked on the web site, I couldn't find a wab link. SIG is a dying company, It is getting harder to get supplies from them. I ordered a cowling sig makes in a current kit, took 2 months to get it.
sad I really like their airplanes.

I have a Senior and love it.
I hope Sig survives the "ARF Menace" - they sell the best kits, and for great prices!
Perhaps everyone should go buy a kit within the next week to help them out? I'm eyeing that Sealane...

RE: kadet senior plans
I love their products, I have owned 2 somethin extras, 3 midstar 40's (built 4), 4*40, kadet mk II, fourstar 120, kadet seniorita (which trained 4 fliers), kadetito (built 3), 2 Hummers (I have an unopened kit downstairs) and I want to build a senior. Sig is using his company to gain money. Orders are delayed, hobby shops are having problems with part orders. The owner waits for a number of orders before making products. Towerhobbies (or other sites) are not carrying their products any more. Times are bad, builders are low in numbers and companies like Sig and Great planes refused to go to China for ARF or kit products and now they are losing to companies that build 10000 arfs then disappear in two years.
I love SIG. their last products are different versions of the same products, Their ARF attempts were too expensive.
Now I'm thinking about buying the kit, thanks everyone.

Glowhead - gee, I'm guessing that you'd be surprised to know that SIG has been using China resources to build ARFs (like the Kadet Senior) for several years now.

They had larger airplane kits (arfs) in the beginnning. These included an Extra 300. 26cc-50cc ARF's. This is what burned them. They were over $600.00-1000 when china ARF's were half the price. Goto www.nitroplanes.com I can get a trainer for half the price of the kadet senior, still.
