Default Profili and Chinese Laser Cutters (eg K40)

Does anyone have any experience of using Profili 2 with a cheap chinese laser cutter such as the K40?

I've asked Stefano Duranti of Profili about compatability but to be honest the answer was pretty vague.

What I want to be able to do is laser cut glider parts accurately and quickly without spending a fortune.

Hope you can help!

Simon

Without knowing which interpreter application you are going to use, it's almost impossible to give you a precise answer.
Profili Pro can export to GCode/ISO, DXF, HPGL file format, these are perfect for CNC milling.
About Laser cutting I have seen still a big confusion in the accepted file formats for the interpreter/controller.

To cut ribbed wings I suggest devWing cam, see http://www.devcad.com/eng/devwing.asp
