Default painting foam question

hi.. i am wanting to paint a foam piece of fuselage with rustoleum.. but i needv a bearier coat so it dont melt the foam i was going to put down a good base coat of latex then primer then paint.. will this work? will the latex prevent the rustoleum from eating through the foam? thank you in advance

Try Nelson Hobby Specialties Water Reduceable Poly Urethane, its fuel proof, goes straight over foam, and you can get tons o' colors.
