Default sorell hyperbipe bumping up the WS from 42 to ???? maybe 57 or 60.

I was fortunate to get a master's kit of the sorell sons 7 hyperbipe.the first one I saw built was by my rc mentor back in the late 70's and I have always been fascinated with it and decided it's time to build it.the kits wing is 42 inches span.i am planning to enlarge it to say 57 inches or even 60 inches.of course there are several challenges.first not sure if I would need a 90 or 120 four stroke.is there a formula to determine the engine power to to wingspan.?
Then my next challenge is the cowling.i plan to to make a fiberglass cowl from a foam plug.

Lastly I am wondering if I use the same medium balsa to construct the open frame.or do I bump it up as an example if the longer on is 1/8 by 1/4 do I still stick that or go a step further and substitute with bass or spruce.
I have seen models using plug in wings.i think I can still keep it a single wing as its at most 60 inches.i built many planes so I can reinforce the center easily.

If any one reading this has built the hyperbipe I would your comments and help building it.if you have constructing tips and pics by all means share them.

Here is a link to a page with the factors for scaling. http://mnbigbirds.com/Scale%20Factors%20Page.htm
I designed and built a 38% Hiperbipe. 105" span 49 lbs 111cc.
Here is some pics for a 57" span / .60 engine design from June 1978 Radio Modeller magazine.
