You need some gussets in the four corners to strengthen the wing mount. Here's what I did in a 50cc Tripacer. Dan.

I have finished the control services on the fuselage (elevator and rudder). What servos do you guys recommend? Is 2 for the elevator and only one for the rudder enough do you think? What size and brand? I haven't bought the radio yet either so what brand and model do you recommend? I will need at least a 6 channel. (rudder, elevator, ailerons, flaps, throttle and choke). At least I think. Do most of you put a servo on the choke?

Tim, usually you have the radio first and design the radio installation into the model during the build. This includes the pushrods, servo mounts receiver and battery location. Each moving surface should get its own servo and be on a separate channel which means that you will need an eight channel radio. If you want a kill switch that will make it nine. A choke servo will make it ten or you can make a manual connection. Of course you can get away with less if you use a “Y” connector on some of them. 75 to 100 ounce servos are all you need and they can be the analog type. Plastic or metal geared makes no difference. Any name brand radio is reliable today so just use what the guys at the field are using. As usual, the more you pay will result in more reliability. By the way, how are you going to get the pushrods in the fuselage if you haven’t done it yet? Dan.

Dan, I thought it would be easier to show pictures than explain how I did it. Basically, drill a hole and thread it through. I made the supports, drilled them and stacked them on the tubing. Then reached back into the fuselage and applied a blob of epoxy to each one as I stuck in in place.

OK. I didn't know you had the servos. You're a little long on the unsupported ends. Here's how I do it. Dan.
