Default Looking for trainer plans

I am looking for a 60 sized trainer plans. I have the RCM but they are only 40 sized. I have the Kadet, Senorita, telemaster too. What I am looking for is something like the PT 60. I have looked but have not found it yet.

Thanks.

Buzz.

Hi Buzz,

You can take 40 size plans and scale them up.
For a reference how much to scale up, you can find similar plane in 60 size and copy the size of the wingspan.

I was thinking of just blowing up the PT 40 plans to the 71 inch span and see what I can come up with.

My buddy had a PT 40..we called it "The Flying Four by Four"

Made a decent float plane with enough power...

If you can't find the plans here http://www.outerzone.co.uk/index.asp I bet you can find a 100 other interesting trainers or vintage planes that tempt you !

Yes I have spent hours and hours looking at all the good stuff on Outerzone. If I lived a thousand years and had boat loads of balsa I could not build them all. Reason I was looking at the PT 60 was the simplicity. Could be cut and framed in a weekend easy. I may just break down and get the kit.

I do have a nice Quaker Flash to build. Big, old, slow flyer.
