Regular guy scratch build an f-14 tomcat
hi guys, i saw Jai and George build these thing with nice threads so im giving it a go. i have a top flite corsair 60 kit i build 4 years ago with a saito 120r3, scale exhaust ,retracts ,flaps ,gear doors ,fonctioning cockpit and cowl flaps flown by an uprgaded 2.4ghz futaba gold box fp-7fg. Initially i got a nice futaba 9vap in mint condition from ebay to fly this project but im quickly running out of channels so im getting a nice futaba fx22 to handle all that. im going with a fiberglass fuse over the wood plug im building and twin jetcat 60. never flown jets before but i do fly cessnas 152 in flight school so will see how it turns out. Any help or inputs or comments is more than welcome. this is a once in a lifetime project and a half and im enjoying every second of it.
