E-3 Sentry (AWACS a.k.a Boeing 707)
Does anyone know where i can get plans for an E-3? I am in the Air Force and fly on this plane and am dying to build one. i would even settle for a Boeing 707 plan. i could modify it and make and e-3. any help would be great.

well i found autoCAD plans for the 707 not e-3 or 135. but alas plans for it.....the bad news is it costs $121.00 bucks to buy the plans....not sure i want to spend that much on a file that i have no lcue how in depth it is and if it will work. but here is the site for it:

RE: E-3 Sentry (AWACS a.k.a Boeing 707)
I'm a crew chief on the AWACS at Tinker. You can get all of the info you need to build your jet in the areas and dimensions TO. When I worked on the KC-10, I made plans for a KC-10 with a 10 foot wingspan using only the info I found in the TO. It will tell you station numbers for the leading and trailing edges of everything, where the landing gear is, wing sweep, fuselage dimensions, angles on everything etc. I have designed many many planes and I don't use a computer program for anything other than the airfoils. I draw a top view, bottom view, and then draw each part. It's time consuming, but works great. Building a large jet can be complicated, but I'm full of ideas. Feel free to E-mail me if you'd like to discuss it. I can answer a lot of questions! Matt
