Default How do I caculate................

...........the estimated weight on the nose wheel? My mains will be about 1" behind the CG, and the nose wheel is 17" forward of CG. Estimated weight of the plane is 20lbs. I seem to have a brain lock .

Default RE: How do I caculate................

Assume:

Weight on nose wheel = W1
Weight on main wheels = W2

Then we know
W1+W2 = 20
and we also know that
W1 x 17 = W2 x 1

Solving the equations we get W1 = (10/9) lbs = 1.1111 lbs

I hope I am right!
