Ailerons, Size and Area
Hi All,
I am building a 2m Slope Glider at the moment, it is designed for only Rudder and elevator, but to have more control on the slopes I want to build the wings with Ailerons. Does anybody have access to Data/Tables which I could use to determine the preferred size to provide, both in length and chord.

RE: Ailerons, Size and Area
There are no tables but generally the outer half of the span and about 20% chord are decent enough for most purposes. Or if you want to use full length strip type then 10 to 15% is fine. The more aerobatic you want it the wider and larger they should be.
Since you're going for ailerons cut down the dihedral to half or less of the current amount. If the fin looks big compared to the rest of the model and compared to others you may want to reduce it's area by about 10 to 15% as well.
