Covering film you would use
Hello all!
i am wanting to cover my sukhoi26mx which is 56" wingspan, ~5lb dry and most likely have (but nothing larger) an asp52 series 3 (two stroke). So i am finally up to getting the covering. Now here's my question:
I am thinking of oracover, monocoat, solarfilm or easycoat. These seem available to me, but i have not done much in terms of research - i am all ears for more suggestions. Now here are the discriminators: cost, weight and (sufficient) strength. What is the best compromise as oracover and monocoat are quite a bit more expensive and heavier than the other two mentioned. The frame is quite stiff already. I would like to use easycoat as i have used it (and it is the cheapest) before but is this suitable for its application? and how about that shrinking in side (hot) cars etc - does all covering have that problem, are some more subject to such, or how about methods that people use.
Thanks in advance
