RE: RC Cad
Was a lengthy discussion as to CAD software and types beginning about Feb 5, titled DESIGNING OR MODIFYING PLANS USING CAD.
It brought up the use, plus other options out there which may be more suitable to large scale use. As was found, you may be able to spend $10 more in the purchase of software, and get a whole lot more options and better compatibility. The forum mentioned several vendors who have free trial versions available for download.
I would suggest you review what was mentioned then, as there was large, good input by forum readers. I think only one reader was using the mentioned software, whereas there were numerous others using more traditional types.

RE: RC Cad
Further to Coos' reply... There's been many a discussion about CAD in general and RC CAD in particular. Use the Search feature and limit it to the Scratch Building forum and you'll get all the info you need.
