My designs are finally getting kitted!
Hi everybody,
Those of you who know me are aware that I've already had one go-around with a certain "manufacturer", and it didn't work out too well. (And please... Let's not make this thread about that experience. Nothing has changed, so there's no point.)
I've formed a new company, as a joint venture with a foregn manufacturer, which means U.S. distribution of his very nice existing kits, as well as the production and distribution of all of my designs. That basically means worldwide distribution for both of us. "My designs" refers to all the ones in the image attached, as well as some that are unpublished. I personally spent a week with the owner, have seen his kits, tested his composites, formed a great plan for the future, and am very happy to be working with a legitimate manufacturer, who is an avid RCer himself.
There will be an announcement on my site by March 1st, at http://www.nextcraft.com/rcindex.html which will fully explain all the details. (and then I suppose I'll have to stop posting here, because it will be "commercial" ) I'm thrilled, and just wanted to give you a little "pre-announcement". Details and specs of the kits will be announced then. You can always find them on my site, in the meantime.
I should point out that the reason these kits will be very nice is due in part to the very good technical advice I've gotten from several of you here on RCU. Thanks!

RE: My designs are finally getting kitted!
Our basic priorities are:
1. Establish the new corporation, in order to publicize all the existing products and begin U.S. distribution of the existing kits...adding distributors and advertising as we go.
2. Add my designs, (all under construction) prioritized by how quickly they can be finished. (Fastest ones first) This means:
A. "Versa" and "Genie" (2 pattern designs, .46-size and .91 size) first. (spring or summer of 2004)
B. King Air B200 and "Eliminator 2" sport jet next, simultaneously (mid to late summer of 2004)
C. Avanti, Trainer/STOL type, and others not yet published, after that. (asap)
We're also doing civilian and military UAV work, but this won't generally be publicized.
Thanks, everybody for the congrats. I'm dying to finish these things, so we can move on to more of the same. We have some really nice things planned for the future, and I can work much faster this way. (More details on March 1st)

RE: My designs are finally getting kitted!
Hi everybody,
The new version of my web site is up, including the press release, at http://www.nextcraft.com/rcindex.html
I won't post here any more on this subject, since we're getting ready to go "commercial", and it would be considered inappropriate by some.
Thanks to everyone, and wish us luck!
