Cutting in Ply
Anyone got any good ideas for cutting a perfectly rectangular hole in 1/4" ply? I've got it router it somewhat out with a dremel tool but I need the square corners now. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
TIA,

If you have a hole cut then about the only way you can square it up is to use a hand saw[razor saw?] or a hand coping saw to cut out the corners. If you happen to nave a scroll saw you can remove the blad and reinstall it thru the hole and trim out the corners with that. That's the way I do it all the time.

Easiest way is to drill a hole at each corner and then connect the corners with a scroll saw. If you need square corners, just drill a hole near one of the edges and use the scroll saw for the whole thing. Clean up with a file or a sanding block if you have one that fits inside the cutout.

Of course, you could always resort to the old jig saw that most people would have lying around (I've found that scroll saws aren't as commonplace as jig saws, in garage at least )
