Bumble bee or S**** sky baby
Has anyone ever built of flown a model of either the bumble bee or the S**** sky baby? I found the plans for both at the RCM plans site http://www.rcmmagazine.com/e/env/000...ore-plans.html plan # 1015 or 967. (June 86 and April 88)
The idea of a 1/4 scale plane with a 20" wins span appeals to me but it looks like it would be a real handful to fly. Might be a good opportunity to try a gyro.

Ive got the plans for the S**** Sky Baby, and keep looking at them, intending to do it....I think it would me a hoot with a saito 30 in it. Ken Willard talked about flying it rudder and elevator only and it being so sensitive in rudder that he only hinged half the rudder and even then only needed one eight of an inch throw.

Thanks for the reply. I would think the torque of a 4 stroke would be a problem for such a short wing span but then again the whole plane looks like a problem. I think I will see if I can find a back issue of the magazine in the library and see if I can convince myself I could fly it.
