Default Getting into CAD

I already know how to design an aeroplane, but I have absolutely no idea about CAD. Can anyone suggest a good CAD program and maybe some helpfull web sites?

TurboCad V4 learning addition is a really good free CAD program to learn and draw with, get it at this address
http://www.freecad.com/cgi-bin/dcd/h...se/index-3.htm
or go to the IMSI website, they did have a newer Learning addition for download but it had a time limit i believe.

Edge, try the Search function with the key word "cad" with the search limited to the Scratch and CAD forum. You'll get enough back threads to keep you busy for a month. First timer CAD is a common question and you'll find lots of helpful and misguided opinions in the thread history.

PS: Get TurboCAD...

TE, you may also want to give Deltacad a try. You can download a 45 day free trial at www.deltacad.com. Hope that helps you some. By the way, I use deltacad and it works great for drawing 2D stuff and best of all, its very easy to learn. Have a wonderful day. Hope its warm and dry where you are.

In Christ,

Joel Chavez
