Default Delta CG and thrust?

I'm working on a new project of building a VTOL Delta Wing, similar to the ones that were being tried out in the late 1950's. What I need to know though, is where center of gravity needs to be for a delta wing. Does anyone know how to figure this out? Also, does anyone know the maximum static thrust of a Magnum 46 engine? (It'd be important to know so that I can figure out how much weight I have to work with)

Thanks

Default RE: Delta CG and thrust?

Use this:

http://www.palosrc.com/instructors/cg.htm

Plug in 18% as your balance point.

.46 sized motor will do about 6 lbs thrust with a lower picth prop (like 11x5 or 11.5x4).

Good Luck!
