Types of Carbon Fiber, & there uses?
I am building a 80" built up wing with a 20" chord at the root and a 16" chord at the tip. I am trying to make this wing as light as possible and as strong as possible. In looking into carbon fiber and Kevlar I am running into different types some are braided some come in matt form that looks like tissue and some you can get in tape form as they call it. All in different thickness and combinations of Kevlar, carbon fiber and glass.
Can you guys put this into perspective for me and what are some of the uses you are using the different forms of carbon fiber. Thank you
