hey guys about to start landing hardware in this thing.

generation 1 had about a 10 second flight when its elevator hinges failed and it met the ground alittle to hard (at about 90 degrees)
there was a thread in the crashes a while back showing the remains
[link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3112155/anchors_3112155/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#3112155]skippy g1[/link]

it has 114 sqin of wing(including aileron area) should weigh about 8oz when done
the tail is set at 120 deg
the motor will be an axi 2212/20 with a 3 cell 1250 mah lipo powering it
the propellor is an APC 8x6 electric
servos will be 3 cirrus 4.4 (1 for ailerons, and 1 for each tail surface)

anyway tell me what you think.

I have the wing and tailboom section built, and am waiting on some other components before i finish construicting the pod underneath

Looks pretty neat! It also looks like it would make an easy conversion to a Cox engine. Might need a longer nose to get the CG right for either power source though. Did your first one come out ok on the CG? Aside from that, and the tail looking unusually large, it's a very pretty airplane!
