Default Saito 150 for 1000 sq. in. plane?

I am working on an enlarged version of the old Super Kaos that was published in MAN in the 1980's. It will have about 1000 sq. in and should come in around 10 1/2 - 11 pounds. The prototype flew on a .90 two stroke-would a Saito 150 be comparable in performance? The wing is thick (about 18%) but the fuselage is very spare ( 4.75 w by 6.0 H max).

Thanks,

Markd

I built an Ultra Sport 1000 for somebody, with a Saito 150 in it. Incidentally, if you read the Jim Feldmann article on the Ultra Sport ( RCModeler), you will see that the Kaos was the inspiration for the Ultra Sport.

The person who is flying the US1000 says that the Saito is a perfect engine for it.
