I have had good luck with some of the synthetic matls that are found in the fabric depts of WallMart<Kmart, etc. they go on good with a good coat of dope on the wood, then moderate iron heat-- make test runs first. they have some fancy patterns available. some shrink-- others don't. dick

I will have to try the fabric. If money is no object Coverite Fabric is strong and looks like silkspan . This monster will have monokote for covering like its 15# little brother. I even used the cheeper econokote on a 12' Giant Telemaster, Im always broke thoe....[]

Mel-

I'd cover it with silk & dope. I've been using 5mm Habotai silk from Silk Connection:
http://www.silkconnection.com/produc.../silk/habotai/
36" wide, $1.63/yd for 5yds or more. Just like K&S silk, but LOTS cheaper.

Of course, you have to like doping - it takes a bunch.

Solartex.....One of the guys at the field turned me on to it and it's great stuff. My 115" Decathlon done in Solartex. Maybe a little to expensive though. I thought it was worth it in time saved.
