How can you transfer plans?
Hello Everybody!
How can you transfer plans to the wood without cutting every peace from the paper and gluing it on it?
Does anybody have plans for PZL P-11 or Orlik?

I make a cardbord copy of the plan shape, stick a piece of carbon paper under it, on top of the sheet, repeat the pattern tracing for the number of ribs, then rough cut them out, then stack and final shape all of them at one time. sure beats kit cutter prices-- lets you buy more Balsa. also you will have them complete even before you can mail a pattern to the kit cutter and he does his work. many hundred of ribs this old fashioned way. dick

Check out The aeroplane works in N.J. phone 954-424-6229. he has kits available from different designers. cost depends on the complexity of kit to cut.

There is a way to transfer your drawings to wood using a photo copy and laquer thinner.
I have not tried it, but it looks like the best I've seen yet. By Demon-Leather, here is his step by step instructions:
