Engine Choice for scratched F3F-1
Choosing an engine for an unbuilt model can be difficult, especially with the wide range of todays offerings.
The model is of the Grumman F3F-1, but in this case, the G-22, which was Al Williams bright orange stunt bipe.
1/5 scale. Top wing measures 12.5" X 70.5". Bottom wing measures 10.5" X 64.5".
Fuselage is 54.5" long and it's chubby. Cowling is 12" tall by 10.5" wide.
I have much experience scratch building but certainly need help in selecting an engine.
Also, how does one go about placing a photo in a Post?
Thanks in advance.

Nice pic. The plane pictured is #7 from Fighter Squadron(VF) 4, USS Ranger(CV4). If you're interested here's a link to a pic of the Ranger

AVAIOJET:
That's really a question for the digital forum area but not a really big deal.
At the bottom left hand corner of your box for text, you will see "Click here to upload!"
Once you click it, you will see the contents of the attachment. Simply hit any one of the "Browse" areas and another screen will come up asking you to select the file you wany to load.
If you are manipulating your images with PhotoShop, just shrink the image down REALLY small and save it as a jpg, gif, pdf, or a txt. Keep the file smaller than 3000KB.
You can also load multiple images. You can do them one at a time, or a whole group.
If you send a PM, the same rule apply except that the file must be smaller and only one.
I hope that hels you a little
