Default Dornier pfiel/ Arrow

has anyone out there built one of these WWII experimental birds ?
It seems like such an unusual airplane, yet fast & efficient, stable. I've ordered a set of plans from Model Airplane magazine.
Any comments, feedback, pics ??

Didn't Art Johnson do one a few years ago?

Al Masters designed one several years ago. There is a kit on E-bay now.

Several have been built over the years. I did one as a controline model in 1955. It was a good flyer and could fly on either engine once airborne.

For the ultimate kit of this airplane, go to PCM models (Pat McCurrey). It's not cheap, but it is the best of the best for this aircraft. You can see his entire build thread, from the design stages, through completion on rcscalebuilder.com. It is an awesome build thread, many, many pages of amazing stuff. Anyone who builds scale should spend the time to read it. He took it to Top Gun this past year, and was featured in the magazine articles for that event. I urge you to check it out.
