Default 60 Size plans for a A6M Zero?

I am looking for a set of plans for a 60 size Zero. Does anyone have a source for a set of plans for this plane?

Thanks
Jim

Thanks for the info. The Ziroli plans are too large for a 60 size engine. I am not too sure about how well those cleveland plans would scale up to this size.

You might want to keep an eye out on ebay for a Royal/Marutaka A6M5 kit or set of plans.

CMP 53-54" span zero. Around $100.00. The plan alone would be half the cost of this awsome model. I will put a 60 in mine.

I have a set of the Royal Zero SR size plans which is powered with an .60 size engine. I'll look at the plans and see how much patterns they show. I cut foam wings for my model that I built years ago instead of the balsa wing.

If you are willing pay for copy costs at Kinkos and shipping you can have a set...

Fred,

If the plans are suitable for scratchbuilding an all built up model, I would very much be interested in a copy.

Thanks

You can build a model from these plans, the major formers and wing ribs are shown for patterns. Some of the other parts are not shown, however you can easily figure out the proper shape once you have the other structure and parts built.

I made several changes to mine when it got built

1) Foam wing
2) fuselage skin was reduced from 1/8" to 1/16"
3) tail skins were reduced in half

Model still came out tail heavy......

I'll figure out how the plans will cost to copy this week

I took the Royal A6M5 ZERO plans to KINKO. There are 2 sheets. I had a copy of each made. It cost me almost $20.00 for the copies. If you are interested, e-mail me at the above address.
Cordially, Ron

Sorry about the pic being upside down, but that is the only way I could get it into my printer.

Engine size: .60 to .80. Note that these plans are old and a new .60 is probably as strong as or stronger than an old .80.

Wing span: 62 5/8 inches.

Fuselage length: 51 7/8 inches.

Wing area: 706 sq inches.

Scale ratio: 1 3/4" = 1'
