Default Control rod Sizing???

Now for a dumb question, I should know but don't remember. Which is the bigger control rod>>>> 4/40 or 2/56??

I was thinking the 2/56 is bigger.

Can anyone help????

4/40 is bigger. The first number is the gauge (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 etc.) the second is the pitch of the threads. (higher number is finer thread)
