Default spray adhesive?

What kind of spray adhesive do you use to glue patterns to the wood?

I use a glue stick or rubber cement. With either of them I can remove the pattern after cutting. 3M #77 holds the pattern extremely well - actually, too well. Trying to remove the pattern after cutting can be "an experience to be remembered".

I like 3m77, it can be a problem taking it off, but worth the accuracy to me.

Instead of spray try using double sided Sellotape/ Scotch tape (the type with backing paper is best). Only small pieces of tape, say half inch long, in 4 or 6 places works well and is easier to remove.
This tape can also be used to fix 2 pieces of wood together to cut two identical parts such as fuselage sides etc. Again only use a few pieces of tape otherwise it is difficult to separate.

I use 3m77 also. Just spray a lite dusting on the wood. Then remove the template asap after the cut. If you leave it very long you gotta get after it with a scalple.

With just a little heat from your heat gun the pattern with the M77 will peal right off. Even if it has been on for a while.

There is also a Post It glue stick available. I've used that before and it works great. But besure to apply it and leave to "dry" for about 5 minutes first. Otherwise it can stick well enough that it tears the paper when you try to remove it. It seems to resist wood dust well enough that it'll stick nicely a few times before it becomes too "dry".
