Default how do you make/attach support wires

Building a Fokker DVIII and I'd like to add the crossing support wires between the wheels. What are some techniques for doing this? Like materials, attachment methods and all that. Thanks!

I've always used rigging wire. This is the wire manufacturers are providing for the pull-pull systems now in use. Proctor Enterprises provides this type of equipment. They have turnbuckles, swaging fittings, brass brackets etc. If your into building WW1 stuff having Proctors Catalog is a good investment. Do a Google of "Proctor Enterprises". Their catalog is $7.00.

This is the way I did it on my Pietenpol. Very similar in nature to what you want. The cable is U control wire, the fittings are some crimp electrical connectors I found at ACE Hardware.
