RE: Balsa Shopping
Edge,
My vote would be for Lone Star Balsa. I just received my first order from Lone Star Balsa about 2 weeks ago. I was very impressed with the price, quality, service, and time of delivery. They even substituted 42" stock because they ran out of the 36" stock that I ordered for the same price.

RE: Balsa Shopping
Lone Star. Founded and owned by a home-grown Texas boy and Nationals Combat champion-Riley Wooten. I was buying from Riley out of his LHS in the late 60s. Order over the 'net, I get mine orders in MN in 4 days. My last order for 50 or 60 pieces of contest wood averaged out to 5.3 pounds per, and not a single sheet over 6 pounds. I did finally discard one punky sheet.
