How to wax a mold with panel lines and rivet details???
I'm looking for some advice. I've got a fiberglassed mold complete with panel lines and rivet details. I'm ready to pull a female off it, but need to wax it up. I know I need to put a bunch of coats of wax on, but how to I keep the panel lines and rivet detail? I don't want the wax to fill these details in. Any advice?
Thanks

Hi
You really will not lose any detail after waxing as long as you remove the paste from the low spots by buffing carefully.
Use a small stick with a towel at its end to clean th paste out of the panel line. Just buff the rivets.
that is one reason why I exagerate(?) my rivet detail a bit on my plugs, on my glass part, I will have to prime. Don't want to loose all that detail.
Take your time and use care.
good luck
