It won't be tail heavy long if you don't correct that! It'll be in pieces all over the ground.
The c.g. is the most important thing on the plane.
Put it where it supposed to be!

so would it be ok to put weights in the front to make up for that. I have the CG at 3 5/8 from the LE of the wing as per Horizon.

ANY tail heavy is a lot. Get that thing back in spec or you'll plant it.

Remember: A nose neavy plane may fly poorly. A tail heavy plane may fly ONCE.

.
Yes, the manufacturer seldom puts the c.g. in a position that would cause a tail heavy condition.

I can't find a Hangar 9 XtraEasy 2... what kind of plane is it?

I think your options are:
1. Reposition the internal components as far forward as possible (esp. the battery)
2. Add weight to the nose
3. Rebuild the section you repaired and try to eliminate the weight you might have added.

What sort of repair did you do? Tail repairs are especially weight sensitive due to them being so far away from the CG, so avoid 'beefing it up'. Adding weight to the nose isnt the end of the world but you will not be as happy with the performance.
