Here is a pic of a little one I drew up some plans for.
352 sq in. semi-symetrical constant cord.
All balsa and ply formers. Monocoat finish.
.15 sport engine flies it plenty fast.
I am currently using a 25yr old O.S. .15 bushing engine that flies it real well. I can only imagine what the new O.S. .15 would be like. I'm sure a hot .09 would work also and help keep the weight down also.
32 oz. equiped with mini servos and 750 mil NiMh AAA pack.
Wing loading 13oz sq ft,
This airplane is quick but docile and very aerobatic for a constant cord wing. Snaps well right and left. Will flat spin nicely but requires power and down elevator to recover. Flies slow nicely and penetrates wind good. A great fun flyer and quick to build with moderate building skills required.
This plane should work good for you sparky's out there wanting a light wing loading capable of good performance on the right motor and power pack.
