Default Yak-3 3 Views

I have a copy of the the Yak-3 3 view from www.airwar.ru but I've been given a paper copy of another set of drawings and I'm wondering if there is a digital version of the drawings. The drawings have an additional "former" outline between the canopy and the tail. The name on the drawing is "Samolot Mysliwski". There are a total of 5 drawing and they have a lot more detail then the one from www.airwar.ru. This set of drawings have a lot of details that I've been looking for.

I guess I could take the drawings into a place to get them scanned but I think I've seen these digital images somewhere and I can not find them now.

Also, I found a place that has a set of Yak-3 plans but I'm a little curious as to their origins. The location is: http://www.123pc.org/pc1/index.html?target=p_73.html&am p;lang=en-gb

Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike Perik

I finally got around to getting the paper images scanned.
They didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but they should
be useable.

Below are reduced size images of the scans. If you are
interested in the fullsize versions PM me with your email
address and I will send them to you.

Now those are excellent views of The Yak-3

I saw your post in rcuniverse, I myself have been working for some time in making plans for a scale model of the Yak-3 and could definitely use a copy of those excellent scans you posted on this forum,

I would like to know if it is possible you could sent then to my email account

[email protected]

I would really appreciate it,

Thanks

ceckardt,

They are on their way.

One thing I like about these is there are a couple additional fuse cross sections that other 3 Views don't have.

Also, a lot of detail for the cockpit, landing gear and dimensions of the wing.

I'd love to have this images in full res, I'm thinking about making this plane in foam, flatout (easier and cheaper...;-) ) and maybe later a more "real" version...

Please mail the images to movilla at gmail dot com (sorry, I'll never put my address recognizable by crawling spam robots...)

Best regards
Mario

Gentlemen, these sort of requests are far better handled by sending the original post authour a Private Message. Especially when the original post is about 4 years old.

A friend built a Yak-3 years ago for warbird racing, he chose me to Fly/Race it...

Man that thing did an awesome high-speed stall. If I pulled too much elevator in a turn it would do a 3/4 snap and fly out level,, was pretty funny actually, everyone thought I was doing it on purpose during practise flights. scared the crap out of me the first few times

I later determined it was Nose heavy after he had sold it to me,, once I got it balance right it flew awesome
