Im building the Stickit IV from the RCM plans. Im having a hard time finding fiberglass tubes for the boom. does anyone know of any suppliers? Also, has anyone built this plane and knows of any tips that would help?

RE: fiber glass rods?
Your LHS should have a supply of carbon fiber and fiberglass rods in various sizes. If that doesn't work, you can get it from numerous online suppliers. I use this one because they are close to me (in Canada):

Search on carbon fiber and you will find a pile of choices and the original manufacturer of the materials.
BTW, I saw a post by Azzar (sp?) of Air Flair where he said that most people had gone to using a single tube of around .500" or slightly smaller instead of the nested tubes shown on the plans. Search on Smith Super Special and I think it will come up.
