Trash cans, Lawn mowers..what else can we fly?
Ok..I thinkin with the right design, any or most things can fly...so far I've seen trash can, witch, tank, and lawn mower.
Here is my list of possible "freaky flyers":
Park bench
Lawn chair
clothes hamper
pc case
paint bucket
and a plastic storage bin.

well..i think the reclining chair (lounge chair) could be good canidate.
The upper part could have psudo slat....with only one working as an elevator..the upright portion slanting up on sides can be rudders..and the seat of course the main lifting body. The legs can serve as struts with some wheels..and the engine hidden under the seat...with the propeller come thru the seat thru slot if needed.
Choice of color and fabric of course will be user options..hehe

P.s. Congrats on your 1st post dude!

what about the starship enterprize?the saucer section would be the wing the engine could go in one of two location, conventional where the radar dome is located or ducted fan in the engine pods.the struts holding the pods could act as the v-tail

that what I had been thinking of for a very long time .looks like foam could be used now days with lite ply or hard balsa for the warp drive supports/rudders

exactly aero..as plastic is way too heavy..but...we can take a picture of the top and side and blowup and print to the final model size and stick on. Also..i think the engine uprights at the right angle..could serve as v-tail for rudder/ailerons. would only need 2 servos for that..and then one for a elevator across the back.. foam is the way to go..and motors
on top the nacelles. or a pusher in the top back middle...
Airfoil would have to be the body..but could a hidden wind under the top. We could start with a 2 ft across..round foam..
get it into an airfoil.then mount the vert stab/engine pods. carb out a place in middle for the electronics..
wow..i wish i had a big piece of foam..now..

Actually you could use to epp 1/8" thick sheets for the saucer with a 1" by 1/4" hard balsa spar that tapers to about 1/8" at the ends glued about 30% back from the front edge of the disk and swept back about 10 degrees, this would give a flat bottom hight lift airfoil and the rearward seep would act as dihedral to make the rudders more effective.
