Default Convertible Bipe

I have a question for all of you scratch builders out there. I understand that the Sig Hog Bipe is essentially a Sig Astro Hog with a second wing and I wondered if anyone has ever tried making a biplane that could "eject" the top wing during flight and become a monoplane. I'm sure that the answer to this would be no because of how much this would change the basic aerodynamics of the plane, but I think it would be a GREAT thing to see on the field. I mean, you always get to see people lose a wing, but not on purpose.

Lemme know what ya think.

if the CofG is the same for both wings this wont effect the plane, however the top wing causes drag which when lost will cause the plane to pitch upwards. the wing 'could'c be mounted at such an angle that it causes the same pitching so loosing it does nothing, its far simplier to just mix in elevator when you hit the switch...
last point a fluttering wing is no longer controled and could be dangerous.. how about........
you make it swept for stability and use drag ailerons at the tips, this way it could be flown down. what a crowd pleaser. very much like the Das Stick Don Incoll has that ejects the tail
