Default LED Marker Lights

Can someone help that has electrical knowlege that can explain how to make a simple marker light system on a plane?

I have a schoolyard scale Citabria that is stick built, and want nothing fancy here...just blinking red and green LED's ran to the wing tips, a steady clear marker light in back by the rudder, and since its a Citabria it can also use a clear landing light thats in the nose.

It would be nice to patch it into the flight pack just for simplicity, but a nine volt or a singe cell system isn't out of the question, it just adds weight to the 1/2A design.

I have only soldering skills. I would'nt know what LED's to choose or what to match them with power.

I've searched for home rc projects that cover this...but they get way involved with making your own wiring board and such. If I am not mistaken, they already make self contained blinking LED's no special wiring.

Contact Bigbird here on RCU. He can give you the information and show you some of his LED installations.
