Sukhoi 26/29 plans
I am looking at building a Sukhoi from either the RCM plans (Su-26, plan no. 1074) or the MAN plans (Su-29). I would be using an OS BGX for power. From searching the forum, it would appear that the Mark Sirianni plan is not well drawn, is this correct? Also, the recommended engine sizes are .90-120, which I would think is not enough for an 80" IMAC plane.
Has anyone built the Sukhoi from the RCM plans? If so, what was the weight and what engine, servos etc. did you use?
Thanks

I did built a smaller size one from Erik's plans....
Heard that some one enlarged those plans for the size that you
are aiming at....!!

Thanks for the info, sorry I didn't reply back earlier. I'm still thinking about what I'll do after I finish at least one of the several models that are in a semi finished state at the moment...

RE: Sukhoi 26/29 plans
I built the MAN 29 by Sirianni. Only real problem with the plans was the two wing sections that you cut and tape together didn't match correctly, I just redrew them A little. I did make some changes because I used A Brision 40cc gas engine so I beefed up the front half of the fuse and made the cowl top so it would come off for engine installation. It was A fun build. Servos are HT6985s all the way through except for the throttle, no choke servo needed. Flys better then any other 80 inch plane I have flown, way lot of power. I would build another one. Came in at 15 pounds but would have hit the weight advertised without my mods and engine I used.
