selecting a suitable airfoil section
Hi folk
Is there any publication or resource that lists what airfoil section full size aircraft utilise.
I am considering designing my first scratch model ( Midget Mustang Or Cosmic Wind) and I would like to know what section to use.

Well you dint want to use a full scale airfoil. They are different than the one's we use. Try a semi-symm for starters. Lots of lift and fast. Just have to be careful. Some will change trim with speed drastically. If your loafing around i would say something like a 7035. But you cant go wrong with a full symm at 13 to 16% thick.
Hope this helps
