Default Giant scale (100" or larger) DH 88 Comet

Besides Cleveland plans which I hear are hit and miss.. anyone out there know of any good sources for a Giant Scale DH88? Always loved the way that bird looked.. and hoping a GS version would have enough wing area to be more stable I've heard these aren't the most forgiving plane to build/fly

I keep wanting to scratch build a GS scale bird, and keep going between a Ziroli, ME-163, or trying to find a DH88 the right size

Thanks!!!
Deck

Quick and easy (arf!), but it's only 88".

Have drooled over this one for quite a few years but have not made the income to afford it! I went with the plastic fuse from Hobby People.

Well, I hope to start a build thread soon on my DH88. 168 inch wingspan gas burner. Been working on the plans on and off for about 4 years now. Got the chance to spend about 4 hours with the replica and my camera out in CA built by Bill Turner. I think the Comet is one of the best looking classic racers of all time. All laser cut parts with foam core wings from the naceles out. Just finishing up the landing gear and canopy mold. Its been fun. Now to find room to build her!!!!

Bob,

Would you make the plans and other parts available for sale? If yes, put me on your list please.
Thank you,

Jay

Vo, Jay, hope to offer it as a short kit when complete. Trying to keep her under the 55lb limit so some redesign has been worked in. I will make sure you guys are in the loop when ready!!
