Default park flyer razorback

hey, ive just pretty much completed my plans for a glow parkflyer p47 razorback. i was wondering where i could get some cheap balsa but good balsa for it. im giving it a lightweight structure then sheeting it with probably 1/16" sheet and maybe reenforcing that with some lightweight stuff.

Sig, Balsa USA and Lonestar all sell wood by mail order.

I'm not sure "glow" and "parkflyer" belong in the same sentance though....

the way im making it, the glow will be easier to fit than a motor. this way ill get a bit more power and wont have to worry about gear drives or batteries or speed controls and ill also get a longer flight time.

True.... as long as the noise of the engine isn't an issue.

Best of luck with the Razorback. It's a neat looking plane.

noise isnt an issue in my neighborhood, or if somebody does have a problem with it, im flying at a school baseball complex, and they wont be able to find me to complain, so i just wont know about it, but i doubt anybody will care anyway.

When I was a kid some friends and I would fly 1/2A control line for flight after flight all day long at a local school yard with houses around it. When I first bumped up to a .19 powered jobbie that was the last straw. About 4 flights later a cop was there to shoo us off the field and told us not to come back until next week and leave the noisy one at home...

if that were to happen, if i saw a cop approaching i would just happen to go deadstick and land, and just happen to slip away. but no, my neighborhood doesnt care, there are people riding around on much noisier powered scooters and nobody cares, at least nobody says anything.
